I shall be ever so kind and grant my post------------ a full half-month ahead of time! Haha, but the things that happened on Tuesday deserve a posting anyway.
Of course, when you put a week long holiday and a supersuper-tired and bored girl together...this happens! The girl, naturally being old-schoolsick and all, decides to pop into IJ to see her friends!
And of course, being a blur girl..she drops in at the wrong time.
AHHH!!Can you imagine the frustration??!!I missed their recess by ONLY 5 minutes! So...back to the girl..she then runs up to the classroom, and sees that it's already too late, the classes have started. So then she zooms back down to the canteen and grabs a quick bite, restocks up on her writing pad (of course she treasures her school stationery as a keepsake!)and when the lovely bell for the end of the first period rings, she dashes up the four floors again.
Then, she remembers. Maths is a double period class.

Seriously, you could never meet a more stupid person than me.
But I was too tired to run down again, so I settled for peeping into the classroom, and LUCKILY there was a table and chair propped nicely outside the room. And I brought a book along, coincidentally.
OF COURSE...now looking from the students' point of view. They're studying very nicely, albeit quietly (and maybe some of them have point blank fallen asleep)but the row next to the window can always sense when someone's watching them. So what a surprise...to find a face popping up above the lockers, grinning and waving frantically! Then the faces start to turn, and within a second, the entire class has revolved 90 degrees towards the window.
Thank god, the teacher hasn't noticed. The girl shushes them, but grins even wider. Then the face disappears, sinks below the lockers, and it's all the students inside can do not to burst out laughing.
The teacher hands them an easter egg before the period ends; some girl doesn't feel like eating chocolate, sticks her hand out the door, and rolls the tiny egg over to the girl outside. Mind you, the girl outside ADORES chocolate.
10 extremely long minutes later, the signal bell rings, and as the teacher steps out the front doors..the girl rushes in through the back door. FIVE GLORIOUS MINUTES of chatting, and non-stop talking----------and then, the second teacher steps in. The girl panics, uh-oh..no where to run off to. But the class just grins, and informs the teacher that she's an exchange student from, of all places, HONG KONG.Sigh.:P
The teacher gets the joke, and fortunately plays along, and thus invites the girl to sit in for the lessons! And so..happy ending for the girl: 2 periods of Add.Maths, in which she learns so much more in depth about Logarithms ( you need to catch up, Mr WONG!!!)and a period of Chemistry, where she also revises the Periodic Table. And of course, the most important thing being that she has 40 old friends surrounding her, talking and laughing with her...and it feels like old times again.
Gosh...you'll never guess...how much I miss CHIJ.
