Today was a stress-free, freezing day, spent in entire boredom, holed up in the computer lab, with the non-adjustable air-con blasting at me. Bugger. Cheryl, Hazel, Sonniya and I dallied and fretted our time away by spying on destinations (using GoogleEarth, of course!) and searching out random people's pictures. Oh, and doing our Chemistry homework too. Haha, it's called multitasking practice. Finished reading The Witch's Boy, and it definitely broke my heart over again, then magically pieced it back together. This is one hell of a story that weaves all the folklore and ancient fairytales (Sleeping Beauty, Bluebeard, Cinderella, Hansl and Gretl, The Magic Ravens, Rumplestiltskin, Man in the Iron Mask, ladida and so forth..) together and tells it backwards. Enchanting! :) Returned it sadly to the library, where I found another piece of likely treasure called Cideon's Cutpurse. That one sounds interesting. Before I turned blue with agonizing cold, and ran out of the room to defrost myself, I dug this up from youtube. Pretty violinists are always a cure for the old soul!!
Oh and these two lovely pictures are from the courtesy of my camera! No, not lovely LADIES....
..... Lovely cake for Cheryl's b-day parrrrty!!!
(Same cake actually, don't be deceived, just a little change of decoration! Hence, the pocky sticks!!!)
