, on an island far away, a girl named Sarah had to go back to school. And so, when New Year's Day rolled around, she had a frantic urge in the depths of her tummy to make full use of the very last vestiges of her remaining holiday, in the best possible ways ever.
And just for that day, she
tidied up her room,
practised piano,
went out rollerblading,
popped into a bookstore and read and read and Read, and (fortunately) managed to include herself in a family outing to
watch the movie AUSTRALIA. Such a busy day it was for that sixteen-year-old girl, but in the end, it was all worth the busy-ness...and thus, for once in a very long while, that girl named Sarah went to bed with a well-fed,
happy smile on her face.
